Wow..I can't believe it's almost been 2 months since I have been on to blog. My apologies. I have been bad at not taking pictures and then when I do they just stay on my camera and I don't think to take the computer up to the printer, put my disk in the printer and download my pictures onto my computer then, have to email all my pictures to my email so I can blog at work..It's a lot of work but I did it this weekend b/c I have been wanting to blog for awhile now just didn't have any pictures. :) I remember taking sooooo many pictures of Isaac when he was a baby and during his first year of life and now with Caleb, I just don't take as much and I feel bad b/c I am not going to have that many of caleb as I do Isaac. I would email a lot of pics of Isaac when he was a baby to family and my sister once told me, she could tell I was a first time Mom.. I totally agreed with her..haha..
The Schelle household is well. Ashley and I are working working working and that's all we feel we ever do now. All work and no play but we are happy..Our boys keep us happy and busy. Isaac has been in his big boy bed now for a little over a month and is doing well. I was impress. I was nervous the first night but he did well and he's sleeping in it all night which is wonderful..He just gets up now around 6:30am and that is way too early for me..I hate it..
He's really been challenging ashley and I on parenting and Ashley and I are learning how to deal with im..Isaac's big thing is saying No to us and hitting if he can't have what he wants and we've never had to deal with this before so it's a learning process and it's only the beginning. I have been attending a bible study at my church every wednesday mornings and we are reading this book by Rick Johnson called "That's my Son" and I have learned that not only are my boys little and I just think of them as a 2 year old and 4 months now, but Ashley and I are raising our boys to be Men some day. And not only Men, but Christ followers. My kids aren't always going to be little even though I think that now b/c they are little. That has been sticking in my head for the past few weeks. I have really enjoyed this bible study and am loving the book. It is so nice to go and sit around a table with other moms that are dealing with the same things that I have been dealing with and know their stories about who did what and what their kid does and to know, I'm not the only one. It's been real encouraging and I have enjoyed getting to know more moms and getting involved w/ our church. I'm helping with VBS this year again and am looking forward to that too. I'm so excited for Isaac to be involved with it next year. That will be fun to see him involved. I will definitely be there volunteering again next year. :)
Ashley and I are learing from each other and are working as a team with our boys and I really enjoy that. Ashley is a great father who helps tremendously. Putting Isaac to bed is what Ashley does every night and he is so good at it. Ashley will lay with Isaac in his bed and will read a story out of his toddler bible, hold hands and prays with Isaac and then will pray for Isaac and sings to him and that is encouraging to me that he is starting to introduce Jesus to Isaac. I love it!!
Caleb is amazing!!! He is such a good baby. I couldn't ask for a better baby. Caleb is 4 months old now and is figuring out that he can roll to his right side and then back to his back again so he soon will be rolling over...I feel like I was just at this stage with Isaac like yesterday..I can't believe how fast they grow..That's why I should be taking pictures. hahaha..Caleb loves to watch Isaac and he's getting more use to Isaac and I have enjoyed watching that as well. Isaac is so loving to him and gives him kisses all the time. I think they will get a long when they grow up. :)
I am still running on the treadmill and have lost 12-15 lbs so far. My workout is 1. 5 miles of running and .5 miles of power walking then a cool down walk so I do 2.3 miles Mon,Tues, Thurs, and Friday and am feeling good. :) Well, I hope life is treating you well. :)
